Dr. Bruce L. Miller

Dr. Miller holds the A.W. and Mary Margaret Clausen Distinguished Professorship in Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he also directs the Memory and Aging Center (MAC), an NIH-sponsored Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.  A behavioral neurologist, Dr. Miller helped found the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) and the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program. GBHI works to reduce the scale and impact of dementia around the world by training and supporting the next generation of leaders to translate research evidence into expanding preventions and interventions.
Dr. Miller has received numerous awards, including the Potamkin Award from the American Academy of Neurology,  the Raymond Adams Award

from the American Neurological Association, and the Gene D. Cohen Research Award in Creativity and Aging from the National Center for Creative Aging. He has authored The Human Frontal Lobes, The Behavioral Neurology of Neurology, Frontotemporal Dementia, Finding the Right Words and over 1,000 other publications regarding dementia. His work has been featured in Fortune magazine, the New York Times, 60 Minutes and PBS NewsHour, among others.

Nancy Lynn Keach

Nancy Lynn Keach is Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships at BrightFocus Foundation, a premier source of private research funding to understand, treat, and cure Alzheimer’s disease, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Prior, she held the position of Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation. Nancy also produces and executes impact campaigns for disease-related documentary films. These include James Keach’s Glen Campbell…I’ll Be
Me (2014), Turning Point: The Quest for a Cure (2017), and Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice (2019). She is an Executive Producer for Taking Care (December, 2024), a 38-minute documentary following the journey of acclaimed filmmakers Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen as they navigate the complexities and heartbreak of Lauren’s mother’s advancing Alzheimer’s disease.

Patrick Brannelly, MSc, MBA

Patrick Brannelly is the founding CEO of the 10,000 Brains Project, a philanthropic fund that supports the application of AI for solving Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative disorders. Pat has more than 20 years of experience building groundbreaking neuroscience initiatives. Most recently, he was a Director of Health & Life Sciences at Gates Ventures, where his work focused on building partnerships for the non-profit Alzheimer’s Disease Data Initiative (ADDI). Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of the Rainwater Foundation’s Tau Consortium, which seeks to accelerate the development of new treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia. Pat holds a BA in Psychology from Harvard College, an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School, and an MSc in Applied Neuroscience with Distinction from King’s College London.

Víctor García-Perdomo, PhD

Victor García-Perdomo is a full professor in the School of Communication at Universidad de La Sabana in Bogotá, Colombia. A former journalist and Fulbright Fellow, Victor received his Ph.D. in Journalism and his M.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. His research addresses the impact of digital technology on mass media and journalism and analyzes how media framing and technology influences our understanding of mental health issues. Victor serves as an international advisor to the Rosalynn Carter Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism.
